Replacing Naby Keita in the second half, Shaqiri scored and put Liverpool FC 2-1 up against Manchester United in their Premier League clash at Anfied on Sunday.

That might have been Shaqiri's first touch and although the goal was the result of a deflection and Ma United's pure bad luck, it gave Anfield every reason to go berserk.

A few minutes later, the Swiss scored Liverpool's third goal. He advanced towards the box and does not take a shot directly. He cut the ball to Firmino, who can't find Mo Salah but the ball spun back to Shaqiri who tackled a defender before netting it past De Gea from the edge of the box.

There was another deflection but Anfield does not care!

Liverpool won the match 3-1 and reclaimed the top-spot of the Premier League points table pushing Man City down to second slot. 

Earlier, Sadio Mane became the first Liverpool player since 2015 to have scored against Manchester United in a Premier League match.
