Rohit Sharma set the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali ablaze with a sensational double-century against Sri Lanka in the second ODI. His unbeaten 208 helped the Men in Blue get to 392 for 4 in 50 overs.
The hurt of an embarrassing defeat in his first ODI as captain was amply visible in Rohit as he went about setting the record straight. He pumped his fist and let out a roar after getting to his hundred in 115 balls.

India were shot out for 112 in the first ODI in Dharamsala a few days ago, going on to lose by seven wickets. Rohit, who is leading the country in ODIs for the first time, must have been bitterly disappointed with the result.
On Wednesday, he looked like a man on a mission - plundering the Lankans all over the park. While his first hundred came off 115 balls, the second one came off merely 36 balls. The Hitman remained unbeaten on 208, slamming 13 fours and 12 sixes in his breathtaking knock.
It was an extra special day for Rohit as he celebrated his second wedding anniversary on Wednesday. His wife Ritika Sajdeh, who accompanies him for most of his matches, was present in the stadium as her husband went berserk out on the field. She looked like a nervous wreck as he approached his double-ton, and teared-up when he got to his milestone.
Rohit acknowledged the special day by kissing his ring finger while celebrating his century as well as double century. Serious couple goals there!
