Rohit Sharma interviewed captain Virat Kohli after Port Elizabeth ODI.

Rohit Sharma returned to form as India won their first cricket series in South Africa.

Rohit Sharma interviewed captain Virat Kohli after the match. In "the quick selfie interview for BCCI", Sharma asked Kohli how he felt after winning a cricket series in South Africa after 25 years. Virat started with praising the performance by Rohit and the whole team.

Virat said, "It feels good to make history. It is something we all wanted to do and it was collective effort. Brilliant."

When Rohit asked Virat about what went right for India in the series, Virat said that it was team effort. However, he specially mentioned the young wrist spinning duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav. He was also all praise for Indian pacers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah.

Rohit Sharma’s century helped India wrap up the One Day International series against hosts South Africa with a 73-run victory at St George’s Park on Tuesday.

India took an unassailable 4-1 lead in the six-match series as Sharma finally came good with the bat, scoring 115 after India were asked to bat first and amassed 274 for seven wickets in their 50 overs. South Africa, who needed victory to keep alive their hopes of levelling the series, were all out for 201 in response.

India also replaced South Africa at the top of the International Cricket Council's ODI rankings. India's ODI series victory came after they lost 2-1 in the three tests played between the two countries last month.
