The Indian cricket team celebrated their victory in the 2024 T20 World Cup with an open-top bus parade and felicitation program organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) at the iconic Wankhede Stadium on Thursday. However, the highlight of the celebration was when Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma danced together during Team India's lap of honor.
Following the grand ceremony at the Wankhede Stadium, which was filled to capacity with enthusiastic fans, the Indian cricket team embarked on a lap of honor to express their gratitude to the supporters who had been present since 4 PM.
The players were overwhelmed by the energy and love they received from the fans, creating an atmosphere unlike anything seen before. Kohli and Rohit led the way with their dance moves, quickly joined by teammates such as Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube, Axar Patel, Hardik Pandya, Sanju Samson, Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah, and the support staff members.
