WTC Final: Virat Kohli and co, women's team start quarantine at Southampton

The World Test Championship final between India and New Zealand will take place at the Ageas Bowl at Southampton from June 18.

Team India men's and women's cricket team arrived in London on Thursday and straightaway travelled to Southampton where they will be based for a week and will undergo a mandatory 5-day quarantine before they go out and train. While the men's team will remain in Southampton for the World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand that will take place at the Ages Bowl, where the teams are situated currently, the women's team will travel to Bristol where they will play the one-off Test against England starting June 16.

Meanwhile, Team India are currently staying at the on-site hotel at the Hampshire Bowl where they will be tested again before commencing a period of managed isolation. Regular tests will be conducted during the period of isolation.

So as the players isolate themselves, they shared views from their rooms after both teams touched base in Southampton.

Mayank Agarwal, Rohit Sharma, Ishant Sharma, Wriddhiman Saha, Umesh Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Harmanpreet Kaur, Radha Yadav, Jemimah Rodrigues, Arundhati Reddy and the women's team head coach Ramesh Powar among many others shared their hotel room view with the Southampton ground in the background.
