Watch how Gautam Gambhir's little daughter 'clears the Yo-Yo Test'.

It's common knowledge that a cricketer in Indian needs to pass the Yo-Yo Test if he wishes to represent the national team. The dreaded test has been in the news for well over a year now, as man famous names - including the likes of Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Mohammed Shami and Sanju Samson - have failed the test.

While these big-shot players struggled to get the better of 'Yo-Yo', there's a little girl in Delhi who seems to have cleared the test with ease. Or so her father claims. And that man is none other than Gautam Gambhir.

The former Indian opener, who often shares adorable videos of his daughters on his official social media accounts, posted a clip on Twitter on Sunday in which his elder one is seen pacing through a cute obstacle course. He tagged Yuvi, Harbhajan Singh and Sachin Tendulkar in the tweet.

"Looks like my elder one Aazeen has cleared the Yo-Yo test!!! What do you think @YUVSTRONG12 @harbhajan_singh @sachin_rt," read the caption.

Here's Gambhir's tweet

Coming back to the Yo-Yo Test, it has been a matter of much debate ever since it was introduced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) last year. While Raina, Yuvraj, Shami, Samson and a few more failed the test initially, they all managed to pass it soon enough.

However, the opinion on the relevance of the test has always been divided among the country's cricketing circles. Team India skipper Virat Kohli and coach Ravi Shastri are firmly in favour of it, but there are also those like former India captain Sandeep Patil who don't see much merit in 'Yo-Yo'.

Not just cricketers, even Congress MP Shashi Tharoor had recently tweeted his opining on the matter. "Delighted to learn that Sanju Samson passed his yoyo test today. He scored 17.3 when the passing point was 16.1. The pointlessness of the test is seen in his going from 15.6 to 17.3 in 4 weeks. But in the process he missed an IndiaA tour. & India missed him. @BCCI should rethink!," Tharoor had written.
