Yuvraj Singh has made big prediction for Rohit Sharma after the latter scored his second century of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 on Sunday. Yuvraj, who recently retired from cricket, has predicted that Rohit will win the man of the series in this World Cup. Yuvraj was the man of the tournament when India last lifted the trophy in 2011.

Yuvraj shared an interesting story as why he has made this prediction. Yuvraj tweeted that he had recently had a discussion with Rohit Sharma where they discussed Rohit not being able to convert starts into big scores.

Yuvraj said that he consoled Rohit by saying that it might be an indication that something good might happen in future. Yuvraj revealed that Sachin Tendulkar had said something similar to tell him before the 2011 World Cup.

"Chatting to Rohit at ipl time ! Discussion about getting starts but not getting big runs , and I was like you don’t know what lies ahead of you it’s happening for a reason ! Same words told to me by @sachin_rt before 2011 wcup , my mos of 2019 prediction from india @ImRo45" Yuvraj wrote on Twitter.

Rohit Sharma produced an elegant hundred before Kuldeep Yadav flummoxed the Pakistani batsmen as India inflicted a humiliating 89-run defeat on their arch-rivals in a much-hyped World Cup match, which eventually turned to be a lop-sided affair. Rohit pummelled a pedestrian Pakistan attack with a brilliant 140 off 113 balls scoring his 24th ODI hundred.
