The cloudy weather and light rain over the past days have greatly improved Delhi's air quality. Recently, the Air Quality Index (AQI) has remained in the 'satisfactory' range. This improvement is not just in Delhi, but also in other major cities in the National Capital Region (NCR), such as Faridabad and Gurugram, which have reported clean air.

The rainy weather is expected to extend to southwest Uttar Pradesh and northwest Madhya Pradesh by July 9. This will reactivate the monsoon, bringing moderate showers to Delhi and the NCR region from July 10 to 12.

Despite the anticipated rain, normal activities in the city are not expected to be disrupted. The residents can enjoy the cooler temperatures and cleaner air without worrying about major interruptions to their daily routines.
