An underpass on the Delhi-Noida Link road will soon be constructed as the Noida authority has finally given its nod to the project. This underpass is expected to give thousands of commuters a smooth, signal free connectivity to Noida from Delhi and vice-versa.

As per the officials, speaking with iamin reporter, the work on the underpass which will be constructed in front of gate no-2 of Sec- 15A is expected to start in three months. The underpass once built will give a signal free non-stop ride to people till Agra also via the 165 km long Yamuna Expressway.

The Delhi - Noida Link road observes heavy vehicular movement as it connects Delhi to Yamuna Expressway and Noida Expressway. The officials are also expecting that the coming up of this underpass will drastically lessen the traffic jams at the red light of Sector-15A. The move will also benefit Sector-15 A residents who also suffer due to heavy traffic on the stretch.

Apart from a single red light at the Noida-Delhi border, the proposed underpass will also give a smooth ride to commuters coming from East Delhi and travelling to Agra.
