The Delhi police have registered a case against four people including a woman based on the allegations made by doctors of a private city hospital who claimed that they were abused and manhandled by the relatives of a patient over medicines. Police said that they are looking for the accused.
According to the police, the complainant in his complaint has alleged that three people came to the casualty department of Jaipur Golden Hospital on Friday and started arguing with the doctor on duty over medicines.
"The accused came to the doctors and starting an argument and claimed that they had left medicines at a particular place three days ago when they had come to admit their patient their medicines were missing," said a senior police officer.
They further said that they tried to explain that as the duty staff has changed, it could not be traced immediately and that it will looked into and they will be informed.
"Over this, the accused allegedly started abusing the doctor and thrashed him and when another doctor came in for his defence, he was also beaten," said the officer.
Police said that according to the doctors, the security officers of hospital tried to get hold of the situation however they were also thrashed.
"Another person had also joined them before they flee away from the hospital," said a senior police officer.
Based on the allegations made, a case has been registered against four unknown people.
"We are investigating the allegations made by the doctors while we have formed several teams to investigate the case," said a senior police officer.
