Delhi Chief Minister’s Office received an anonymous mail on January 9 threatening to kidnap Kejriwal’s daughter, after which she had been given a personal security officer.

The CMO received an anonymous mail on January 9, following which the mail was forwarded to the Delhi Police Commissioner.

A PSO has been deployed for Arvind Kejriwal’s daughter by the North District Police as the Chief Minister resides at Civil Lines.

A team of Delhi Police’s special unit is probing the matter. The case has been handed over to the Cyber Cell of the Special Cell, which is analysing the email and is trying to ascertain the IP address from which the mail originated.

Security has been beefed up at the Kejriwal residence and the police is closely monitoring the area. Further investigation is underway.
