Sexagenarian held for sexually assaulting 2 minors

A sexagenarian has been arrested for sexually assaulting two minors and trying to hush up the incident by threatening and giving money to the victims. The accused, Mohammad Jainul, has been arrested by the police.

According to the police, the incident took place on Sunday night in Palam area of South-West Delhi when two minor girls were playing outside a friend's house. Jainul saw both of them and lured them on the pretext of giving them sweets. "He took the girls to his house and then assaulted them in front of each other. While they were leaving, he handed them Rs 5 and asked them not to disclose anything about the incident. He is married and has kids, however, they were not present at home when the incident took place," said a police officer.

The two minors then returned to their respective homes. After one of the victims felt pain in her private parts and complained to her mother, it was then that the mother spotted some marks on the girl and the two families then informed the police.

The minor identified Jainul, who was then sent to judicial custody. Both the fathers of the victims work as labourers and were out for work when the incident took place.

CHEAP TACTICS

While the minors were leaving, the accused threatened them against disclosing anything about the incident to anyone and handed them Rs 5 to keep their mouth shut.
