After a brief encounter in the Welcome area of northeast Delhi on Friday, the Special Cell of Delhi Police apprehended two youths involved in a conspiracy to attack a rival gangster group. According to the police, the accused have been identified as Shah Faizal and Danish, who were planning to eliminate a member of the Nasir gang." A tip off was received about some criminals of the area, Anas, Amaan, and Danish, who along with some other boys were to gather near the Jheel Park to plan an attack on one Farman, a prominentmember of the Nasir Gang, who is currently in police custody for a murder case," Pramod Singh Kushwah, deputy commissioner of police, Special Cell, said.

Police said at 5.45 pm, Faizal and Danish reached the spot. After some time Faizal's younger brother Amaan, along with another boy, also reached there.

"As soon as the team members closed in to apprehend them, the criminals sensed their presence and started to run in different directions. Faizal and his brother Amaan even opened fire at the police team. After a brief encounter, the two were apprehended," Kushwah said.

The police have recovered one .32 bore pistol along with four live cartridges and a country-made pistol and three live cartridges. 

The accused have been booked them under several sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and 25/27 of the Arms Act.
