The Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct its Clerk Preliminary 2020 examination from Saturday (December 5). All eligible applicants who have registered for the IBPS Clerk Prelims 2020 should visit the official website – ibps.in – and download as well as take a print out of their admit cards for the exam.
The examination will be held over the course of 60 minutes while extra 20 minutes will be offered to candidates with disability.
“The clock will be set at the server. The countdown timer in the top right corner of screen will display the remaining time available for you to complete the examination. When the timer reaches zero, the examination will end by itself. You will not be required to end or submit your examination,” the official notice read.
Apart from Saturday’s exam, it will also be organised on December 12 and 13. The results for the IBPS clerk preliminary exam 2020 is scheduled to be declared on December 31, 2020.
Here are certain guidelines for candidates:
1. One must essentially carry a copy of the admit card for the exam and reach the examination centre at least 15 minutes before commencement. The admit card mentions details like examination centre, reporting time, etc.
2. All candidates must wear face masks during the exam while they might choose to wear gloves while appearing for the exam as well.
3. Candidate Roll Number and the Lab Number will not be shown outside the exam venue but will be communicated to the candidates individually at the time of entry to the exam centre.
4. One can carry personal belongings like water bottles, hand sanitisers, pen, pencil or stationery, photo-ID proof but candidates must NOT share them with anyone.
5. All applicants must have Aarogya Setu app installed on his/her mobile phone. The app status must show the candidate’s risk factor. One must show this status to the security guard at the entry into the exam venue.
In case a candidate does not have a smartphone, he/she will have to bring in a signed declaration to this effect (along with this call letter). Candidates with moderate or high-risk status on Aarogya Setu will not be allowed entry to the exam centre.
