Railway Recruitment Board 2020: RRB Exam 2020 Admit Card released, know other details

The RRB isolated and ministerial categories exam 2020 is scheduled to be held from December 15 to 18, 2020.

The new examination dates of RRB NTPC and Group D recruitment exams were announced by the Indian Railway Board Chairman Vinod Kumar Yadav on Dec 1.

RRB NTPC Exam 2020 Admit Card: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has resumed the admission process after a brief break because of the Coronavirus pandemic. The admit cards for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Exam 2020 were released on the official websites of regional RRBs. As per the schedule, the RRB NTPC Exam 2020 or 01/2019-RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Exam will begin from December 28, 2020. The detailed schedule will be published on the official websites of all RRBs later on. Candidates are advised to visit the official websites of RRBs regularly.

The new examination dates of RRB NTPC and Group D recruitment exams were announced by the Indian Railway Board Chairman Vinod Kumar Yadav in a press conference on December 1.

A total of 2.44 crore candidates have applied for the vacant posts including 1.03 lakh candidates for isolated and ministerial categories exam, and around 1.26 crore candidates for non-technical popular category (NTPC) recruitment exam. There are 1,663 vacancies for the posts of isolated and ministerial categories, while 35,208 vacancies for non-technical popular category (NTPC) posts.

The SMS and email messages will be sent to all eligible candidates about the RRB NTPC e-Call letter and upload details on their registered mobile number and email ID. No RRB NTPC exam 2020 call letter will be sent by post.
However, candidates should regularly visit the official websites of RRB as there can be a failure in the delivery of SMS/E-mail to the candidates due to reasons beyond the control of RRBs.

"Eligible candidates can download e-Call letter along with Annexure V(D) (declaration for scribe, wherever applicable) from the RRBs websites about 10 days before the date of the CBT, CBAT/TST, DV (as applicable). Call letter will not be sent to candidates by post," read the RRB NTPC Exam 2020 recruitment notification.

How to download RRB NTPC Admit Card:

Log on to the official websites of regional RRBs

Click on the link which says, "RRB NTPC Exam 2020 e-Call letter" on the homepage

Enter the credentials like registration number and password

Click on submit

Your RRB NTPC admit card will be displayed on the screen

Download it and take print out of the same for future reference.

RRB NTPC Exam 2020: Stages of exam

There shall be two stage Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Skill Test (Computer based Aptitude Test for Station Master and Traffic Assistant, Typing Skill Test for Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist and Senior Time Keeper).

Subsequently, there will be document verification and medical examination. For Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Commercial Apprentice, there shall be two stage CBT followed by document verification and medical examination.

Electronic gadgets like mobile phones, blue tooth, pen drive, laptops, calculators, wrist watches or any other communication devices or pen/pencil, wallet/purses, belts, shoes and metallic wears including ornaments etc. are strictly NOT allowed inside the exam hall. Any infringement of this instruction shall entail summary rejection besides legal action including debarment from future examinations.

Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones etc. to the venue of the examination, as arrangements for safekeeping cannot be assured.
