She is a 2017 batch IAS officer and had cleared the UPSC exam in her very first attempt. Her hard work, understating and honesty made her popular.
1. Anuj has an engineering degree

3. Mother's advice changed her life

Anuj Malik says, the selection of the subject was a tough challenge at the time of preparation and when she chose psychology, many people objected, because the chances of selection from psychology subject are less. When her mother came to know about this, she said that you are going to face the exam for the first time, therefore there should be no fear. After her mother's advice, Anuj Malik chose psychology and prepared hard. She then secured 16th rank in the Civil Services Examination 2016 (CSE 2016) in her first attempt and became an IAS officer. (Photo Source- Anuj Malik Facebook)
5. Husband is also an IAS officer

Anuj Malik's parents are also government employees. Her father works in Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and her mother is employed in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). 6. Anuj’s popularity because of her work

Anuj Malik is currently the Joint Magistrate and SDM in Khajni, Uttar Pradesh. She keeps making headlines because of her work. Last year, she set an example after she had provided slippers to the migrant labours walking barefoot during the lockdown. After which she was highly praised on social media.
