As lakhs of students across the country are preparing for upcoming CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Friday warned miscreants not to circulate old notices to mislead CBSE Class 10, 12 Board students.
The notices which are going on social media and Whatsapp are claiming that CBSE would be conducting exams only for 29 main subjects from April 2020. The CBSE, however, made it clear that CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021 are scheduled to begin from May 4 as per the datesheet and there are no changes in the plan so far.
The CBSE also shared screenshot of old messages by the board, snapshot of the April 1 circular and tweets of Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal to assert that the messages which are in circualtion are fake. "There are some persons deliberately trying to create confusion about board exams by circulating old news of 1.4.20 regarding X and XII exams . Students should ignore this old circular of last year and not be misled," tweeted CBSE.
The CBSE also advised prents and students not to believe rumours and notices that are circulated on WhatsApp and other social media. The CBSE noted that all official notices related to CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams are posted on the official website of CBSE - cbse.gov.in. The CBSE also sends individiual copies of the notices to the schools to inform them of the changes.
