CBSE Class 10 Results 2021: Important updates

CBSE Class 10 result 2021 is likely to be declared by July 20. Whereas, CBSE Class 12 result 2021 is expected to be declared by July 31.

As lakhs of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Class 10 students are waiting for the declaration of CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 results. CBSE affiliated schools across the country have finished uploading their marks to the portal created by CBSE. Now, the result will be verified and moderated by CBSE and declared the Class 10 board result 2021 soon.

CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The CBSE has opted for a different marking system to finalise the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 results. The result of the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 is based on the basis of internal assessment and was uploaded with the IT portal. The last date to upload the CBSE result was till June 30, 2021. CBSE Class 10 result 2021 is likely to be declared by July 20. Whereas, CBSE Class 12 result 2021 is expected to be declared by July 31. Usually CBSE Class 12 results were declared ahead of class 10.

As per the evaluation criteria this year, The CBSE class 10 marks is calculated for a total of 100 marks, out of which 20 marks will be based on internal assessment and 80 marks on the basis of their performance in various exams conducted by the school throughout the year. The 80 marks will be divided further into three sections that comprise 10 marks for periodic/unit tests, 30 marks for half-yearly/ mid-term exams, and 40 marks for pre-board exams.

Candidates who are not satisfied with the marks will be allowed to sit for a written exam when the pandemic situation normalises.

The board has also allowed schools to hold a one-on-one telephonic assessment with students who could not appear for any exams throughout the year.

 

“If any candidate has not appeared in any of the assessments conducted by the school, the school may conduct an offline/online or a telephonic one-to-one assessment and record documentary evidence to certify the recommendations," the board had said in a statement earlier.
