CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021: BIG updates on result date, marking policy, practical exams

It may be recalled that 12-member committee was constituted by the CBSE to decide the evaluation criteria for CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2021 results.

Amid the rising suspense over CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2021 results, today (Thursday, June 17) is going to be an important day for lakhs of CBSE Class 12 students as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to submit the assessment system for CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2021 results before the Supreme Court. 

Several CBSE officials have expressed hope that the evaluation criteria, which has been prepared based on the report of the 12-member committee of experts, would be released by the CBSE this wek.

It may be recalled that the 12-member committee was constituted by the CBSE to decide the evaluation criteria for CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2021 results. A notification in this regard was issued by the CBSE on June 4.

According to the notification issued by CBSE's controller of examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj, the committee was directed to submit its report within 10 days. 
It may be recalled that CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2021 was cancelled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre due to the surge in COVID-19 cases.

In a related development, the CBSE on Wednesday (June 16) released the instructions for the students who were absent during the class 12 practical exams 2021. Earlier, some changes were made by the CBSE in the process of conducting Class 12 Practical Exams 2021 due to COVID-19 situation. The CBSE has however instructed all the affiliated schools to follow the newly released instructions strictly and submit the marks on or before June 28, 2021.

Meanwhile, specualtions are rife that CBSE would release CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2021 results before August 15.
