Amid the growing demand for the cancellation of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021, here is a good new for CBSE Class 12 students as the students who are appearing for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 may get their own school as exam centre. It is learnt that the Central government is holding discussions over this matter with respective state governments.
Earlier on Sunday, a high-level meeting was held to decide the fate of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 and during the meeting the CBSE had suggested two different options of conducting the exams which included converting existing schools to exam centres.
According to reports, the Union Education Ministry is open to the idea of allowing the students to appear for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 from their own school. A final decision in this regard is expected to be taken on June 1 when the Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank would announce about the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021.
The CBSE has proposed that by allowing students to appear for the exams from their own schools the entire CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 process will be completed in 45 days and the CBSE will be able to declare the result within 15 days of completion of exams. Sources said that most states are in favour of holding the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021.
Several states have reportedly backed the idea of holding CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 but for a shorter duration. It is expected that the Centre would accept this proposal and instead of three hours, the exam can be held for 1.5 hours in most states.
