CBSE Class 12 Result DECLARED: Check Pass percentage and other key highlights

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared CBSE Class 12 result 2021 today (July 30). Students can check their results online for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 through DigiLocker, IVRS, SMS, and also UMANG app. This is the second year in a row, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will not release merit list for classes 10 and 12. “As per practice of the board, no merit list will be prepared by the Board for class XII 2021 result. As a special case, the board will neither declare subject wise 0.1 merit list of students and nor issue merit certificates to the students.

CBSE Class 12 Result key highlights: 

1. A total of 99.37% have cleared the CBSE class 12 result 2021

2. Delhi region records 99.84 % pass

3. The pass percentage of KVs is at 100% along with CTSAs. 

Institution-wise Performance (Pass %):

- JNV: 99.94

- KV: 100

- CTSA: 100

- GOVT: 99.72

- GOVTAIDED: 99.48

- INDEPENDENT: 99.22

 

4. The result has been declared for 1304561 students. This year, a 99.37 pass percentage has been recorded. About 0.47% of students totalling 6149 have got compartment this year. About 0.47% of students totalling 6149 have got compartment this year. The number of students in this category has drastically reduced this year.  The result of 65184 students is not declared and is under process, the CBSE has said. The result will be released by August 5

5. Girls have performed better than boys this year. 99.67% of the total girl students have cleared the exam. Kendriya Vidyalayas have registered 100% pass. 

CBSE class 12 results has been prepared on the basis of the 30:30:40 formula. As per the alternative evaluation criteria announced by the CBSE, the weightage of 30 per cent will be given to Class 10, 30 percentage to Class 11 and 40 per cent weightage to Class 12 marks obtained in unit test/mid-term/pre-board exams.

CBSE exams were cancelled due to the Covid-19 situation in India. According to which students did not receive any admit cards or roll numbers. The roll numbers will be required to check the CBSE class 12 results on the result website.

Steps to check CBSE result 2021:

Step 1: Log in to cbse.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the result link on the homepage

Step 3: Login and enter your roll number, registration number, and other details

Step 4: Results will be displayed on the next page

Step 5: Download your result and take a printout of the same for future use.

Also, on Thursday, CBSE also launched a CBSE Roll Number Finder for students of classes 10 and 12. Through this, students will be able to locate their CBSE 10th, 12th Roll Numbers on cbse.gov.in.
