The syllabus of JEE 2021 and NEET 2021 examinations has been a matter of worry for lakhs of students across the country. It is to be noted that CBSE and other major boards have already reduced the syllabus for Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021 and now students are eagelry awaiting the news about the reduction in the syllabus for JEE Main 2021 and NEET 2021 examinations.
For his part, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal shared important updates with students regarding the syllabus for JEE Main 2021 and NEET 2021 examinations. While interacting with students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pokhriyal said that for JEE 2021 and NEET 2021 exams the students will have to study the whole syllabus. The Minister, however, reiterated that the students will only have to study the revised syllabus for their CBSE Board exams.
It is to be noted that the CBSE has already reduced the syllabus by 30% for Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021. Several other state boards have also slashed the syllabus for Class 10, 12 Board exams.
During his webinar with students, Education Minister Pokhriyal announced that Kendriya Vidyalayas would reopen in a phased manner soon. He added that the offline classes would be resumed in the schools along with the online classes.
Pokhriyal also praised the teachers and students for facing the COVID-19 crisis with determination and converting "challenges into opportunities".
Earlier, Pokhriyal had announced that CBSE Class 10, 12 Board exams 2021 will be held from May 4 till June 10 and the results of CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams will be declared by July 15. Notably, CBSE is yet to release the date sheet for CBSE Class 10, 12 Board exams 2021 but it is expected that date sheet would be released soon.
