The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 to begin the application process for IIT-Kharagpur GATE 2022 soon. The GATE 2022 exam will be conducted next year on February 5, 6, 12 and 13. Interested students can apply through the official website of IIT Kharagpur - iitkgp.ac.in, gate.iitd.ac.in.

The examination will be computer-based and the students will be given a duration of 180 minutes. In total, 195 centres have been allotted to conduct the GATE 2022 examination and approximately 858,890 students are expected to appear for the exam in 2022.

GATE 2022 Eligibility criteria: A candidate who is currently studying in the 3rd or higher years of any undergraduate degree program OR has already completed any government-approved degree program in Engineering/ Technology / Architecture / Science / Commerce / Arts is eligible to appear for GATE 2022 examination.

GATE 2022 Exam pattern:

All Test Papers of GATE 2022 examinations will be entire of objective type. The pattern of questions will include some Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), while the remaining questions may include Multiple Select Questions (MSQ) and/or Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. One or two subject papers are allowed. two Paper combinations have to be chosen from the given list of combinations of papers. The final allotment of two papers will still be subject to the availability of infrastructure and dates.
