Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) will declare class 10 result by June 15. The education minister of the state said that the results of class 12 will be declared through internal assessment. However, the class 12 result date has not been released yet. He said that due to the rising COVID-19 cases in India, the situation is not conducive for conducting the examination. If students desire to take the exams, such an option would be provided to them, as and when the situation becomes better.

Haryana Board Class 12 exam was scheduled to be conducted from April 20. But, in view of the increase in the cases of COVID-19 in India, the exam was postponed. It was informed that after reviewing the situation on June 1, necessary decisions would be taken on conducting the examination. Significantly, the Haryana Board 10th examination was also to be conducted from April 20. But, the exam was cancelled in view of the pandemic situation.

The central government on Tuesday decided that Class 12 board exams of CBSE would not be held this year in view of the uncertain conditions due to COVID-19 and the feedback obtained from various stakeholders.

The government said CBSE will take steps to compile the results of Class 12 students as per well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner.
