Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has released the result for Navik and Yantrik posts. Candidates can check Stage I result for Navik (General Duty and Domestic Branch) and Yantrik (Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical) posts on the official site of the Indian Coast Guard on joinindiancoastguard.gov.in.
Candidates who have cleared the Stage I exam will be called for the stage II exam. E-admit card for stage II will be issued as per the posts available and ratio decided by ICG.
ICG – CGEPT (02/2021) result guidelines, as per official notice
a) Candidate shortlisted for Stage-II: Congratulations…!! You are shortlisted for Stage II (Marks will not be displayed)
b) Candidate NOT shortlisted for stage-II: Marks will be displayed along with cut-off of candidate’s category for Stage-II
c) Candidature is cancelled on account of malpractice: Your candidature was cancelled
d) Candidate Absent for exam: You were absent for Stage I Online Exam of (ICG-02/2021)

Duties of Navik (General Duty):
Navik (General Duty) serves on board ships and ashore for various duties, as an Enrolled Personnel. The trades/ specialization is allotted on the performance of the candidate in the training and the requirement of the service.
Duties of Navik (Domestic Branch):
The Navik (Domestic Branch) provides logistics support to the Ships Company on board ship and ashore as Cook & Steward.
Duties Yantrik post:
They are responsible to maintain all types of machinery/ equipment fitted onboard Ships/ Aircraft/stations. They are also required to maintain an adequate level of spares and accounting of the spares.
