Amit Kale managed to crack his UPSC in 4th attempt by following THIS unique strategy - Know more

Every year lakhs appear for the Civil Services Examination of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). It is considered one of the most prestigious examinations in the country. The application is minimum and the only thing that can help you clear this exam is your preparation and resilience.

Not every individual clears the exam in one go, many have to go through the process at least twice or thrice. One such person is Amit Kale, an IAS officer who secured the 212th rank in 2018, by adopting a very unique strategy.

At the beginning of his preparation for Civil Service, Amit Kale went through all the subjects and decided to study the easy subject first and then concentrate on the tough papers. According to him, the subjects may seem difficult or easy according to the abilities of each candidate. In such a situation, you should first decide this and then prepare accordingly.

Amit Kale had managed to clear all four attempts of his Preliminary Examination but could not reach the final round in the first two attempts. In the third attempt, he passed the exam but did not get a good rank and therefore did not get IAS service. But in 2018, he cleared all the exams and secured the IAS officer position.

As per Amit Kale, a candidate should first be aware of their strengths, weaknesses and abilities and then move ahead with the preparation accordingly. He also suggests that candidates do not copy others since everyone is different. He further added that one should not be scared of failure and keep going until to get success.
