Hailing from the state of Karnataka’s Hubli city, Rahul pursued engineering after completing high school. After acquiring his engineering degree, Rahul joined an IT company.

He could have settled for a comfortable multinational job but Rahul had other plans. After around 2 years, he left the cushy corporate job and dived into UPSC preparations. But the road was to be tougher than Rahul had imagined.

It took him five years to clear the exam. Four failed attempts were hard and it was only because of the support of his family that Rahul finally aced the exam in the fifth attempt.

 

 

Each time that Rahul Sankanur was unable to clear UPSC, several judgemental eyes tried to bring him down. Keeping one’s head held high is a challenge in such circumstances.

Undeterred and backed by his family, he kept on trying until success finally found him.
