Today, we present Anshika Verma, a former engineer who is now an IPS officer, and her inspiring career story.

IPS Anshika Verma is a Uttar Pradesh cadre officer of the 2021 batch. Currently, she is serving as an ACP (assistant commissioner of police) in Agra. 

IPS Anshika passed the 2020 UPSC CSE without receiving any coaching. In her second attempt, she received an All India Rank (AIR) of 136. She is from the UP city of Prayagraj. Anshika studied in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, in preparation for the UPSC Civil Services Exam. 

After completing elementary school in Noida, Anshika attended Galgotia College of Engineering and Technology, Noida, where she received a B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from 2014 to 2018.

She began her preparations for the UPSC Civil Services Examination in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, where she gave herself fully to her studies. Anshika overcame all obstacles and scored a stunning 136 on her second attempt at the UPSC CSE exam without official coaching.

She finished her elementary schooling in Noida. Her father worked for the Uttar Pradesh Electricity Corporation Limited (UPEL) before retiring. Her mother works as a homemaker. 

Anshika has a sizable following on social media, where she is fully active. On Instagram, where she has 244K followers, she frequently shares posts about her personal and professional lives.
