Everybody's dream is to work as an IAS official. However, a lot of individuals become PCS officials instead of realising their aspiration of becoming IAS officers. After a number of years, PCS officials get promoted to IAS officers. In a similar vein, a RAS officer from Rajasthan was elevated to the rank of IAS officer. However,  due to a corruption issue, the state government suspended him. To be such an officer would be the envy of everybody. His name is Bishnoi Premsukh. In 1992, Premsukh ranked ninth in the RAS test.

The state government has suspended Premsukh Bishnoi, an IAS officer promoted from the RAS, following his apprehension in a corruption case by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). The suspension took effect on January 19, the day of Bishnoi's arrest. Bishnoi was assigned to Jaipur as the Director of the Fisheries Department. When accepting a bribe in place of receiving a fishing licence, he was detained by the ACB. In 2021, he was promoted from RAS officer to IAS officer.

As per the Rajasthani government's Personnel Department website, Premsukh Bishnoi is a resident of the Nagaur district. He completed his engineering bachelor's degree. In 1992, the Rajasthan Public Service Commission administered the Rajasthan Administrative Service Examination, which he cleared. He achieved the ninth position in his examination.

Premsukh has spent most of his time stationed at Bikaner. Premsukh Bishnoi, who passed the competitive test on his first try, has experience working in regions ranging from the Rajasthani Chambal ravines to the Pakistani border. Media sources state that he attended government schools and institutions before becoming an IAS officer. Premsukh was raised in poverty after being born into a family of farmers.
