Shubham Dev, a resident of Ambikapur, bagged the second position in the CGPSC PCS Recruitment 2022 exam.

Everyone dreams of getting a government job and studies really hard to clear the competitive exam and work for the government, but getting a government job in just a few months is not an easy process. Today we will talk about Shubham Dev who cleared the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) PCS Recruitment 2022 exam and secured a second position, according to News18.
  
Shubham Dev, a resident of Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh was earlier working as a deputy engineer. He has completed his Engineering degree from IIT Kanpur, he cracked the UPSC CSE examination in 2021 but could not get through the interview round with few marks. 

Shubham said that he started preparing for UPSC right after his B.Tech degree from IIT Kanpur in 2017. He tried in the academic year 2018-19 but he was unable to pass the UPSC Prelims. 

Shubham comes from a family where many members are high-ranking officials. The inspiration to crack the CGPSCand UPSC came from his IAS brother Rahul Dev and IPS sister-in-law Bhavna Gupta. 

Rahul and Bhavna are both 2014 IAS and IPS graduates. Rahul Dev is the district collector of the Mungeli district at the moment, and Bhavna Gupta is the SP of the Bemetara district. In contrast, Shubham's father works as a Block Education Officer in the Surguja district, and his mother is a teacher. By assuming the role of deputy collector, Shubham will shortly continue the family legacy.
