Ghaziabad ADM Ritu Suhas, who has accomplished many things in her life despite adversity, has demonstrated that the phrase "sky is the limit" is real. Ritu Suhas, who was born in Lucknow on April 16, 1976, hails from a lowly family. Her mother, Janak Devi, is a housewife, and her father, RP Sharma, practices law at the Lucknow High Court.
Ritu struggled in school because her family's finances were low when she was a student. She has a sister and a brother. Ritu Suhas did her schooling at Navyug Girls College, although at the time her family adhered to orthodox values that prohibited women from pursuing employment or higher education.
Ritu faced opposition from her family members who disapproved of her desire to prepare for a government position in 2003. Ritu Suhas' parents provided her with vital support as she studied for the UP PCS test.
However, she struggled to pay the coaching expenses due to financial limitations. Despite these obstacles, she persevered with her goals by engaging in a strict self-study schedule. She eventually reached a point where, at the end of the month, she couldn't even purchase a daily newspaper. Ritu started giving tuition to kids in the area to help her make ends meet.
Ritu is an honorable official of the Provincial Civil Service who is well-known for her tenacious efforts within the Uttar Pradesh administration. Ritu Suhas, in addition to her administrative accomplishments, was crowned Mrs. India in 2019.
Suhas LY, an IAS officer and outstanding para-badminton player, and Ritu were married in 2008. Ritu joyously announced that Suhas LY, her husband, won a silver medal at the Paralympics in Tokyo as a result of his unrelenting diligence, demanding training, and dedication to his duties without taking pauses, regardless of festive seasons.
Suhas LY has had an impressive career trajectory. He is not just a silver medallist from the Tokyo Paralympics, but he also serves as the CEO of the Noida & Greater Noida Authority. On March 3, 2020, the Uttar Pradesh government appointed him to the position of District Magistrate for Gautam Budh Nagar, where he has been actively assisting the neighborhood during the COVID-19 times.
