At the age of 22, Chandrajyoti Singh set a record by passing the UPSC exam. This admirable accomplishment is made even more impressive by the fact that she passed the exam on her own initiative, without the aid of a tutoring centre. She passed the UPSC Civil Services Examination on her first try in 2029, ranking 28th overall in the nation.
Chandrajyoti has a strong desire to serve her country. Dalbara Singh, her father, is a retired radiologists from the army. Meena Singh, Chandrajyoti's mother, was also in the army.
