Union Minister of Human Resource Development Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' on Tuesday announced the new date for NEET 2020 exam, held for admissions into medical and dental colleges across India.
According to the announcement, the exam will be conducted on July 26.
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Under Graduate (NEET-UG) exam is held for undergraduate medical courses and dental courses in government or private colleges in India.
Earlier, NEET 2020 was postponed by the National Testing Agency (NTA) due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak that forced a nationwide lockdown.
Since students still have more than two months to prepare for the entrance exam, this time needs to be utilised for preparation in the best possible way.
