NTA JEE Main 2021, NEET 2021: Latest updates about National Entrance Tests students must know

The third phase of JEE Main 2021 will be conducted from July 20 to 25 and entrance exam for the fourth phase will be held from July 27 to August 2.

Amid the deadly second wave of the coronavirus pandemic in India, along with CBSE and ICSE, the examinations of many state boards across the country were also canceled. Earlier this week, the then Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank had announced the third and fourth phases of JEE Main 2021. 

The third phase of JEE Main 2021 will be conducted from July 20 to 25 and the entrance exam for the fourth phase will be held from July 27 to August 2. The registration window is open for candidates at jeemain.nta.nic.in. 

However, candidates who are all set to appear for NEET-UG 2021 are waiting with bated breath for an announcement regarding the medical entrance test.

JEE Main 2021

The online application window will be closed on July 12 at 9 pm for the fourth session in August. The registration process for the third session was earlier closed on July 8. The application fee for JEE Main exam is Rs 650 for general category students and Rs 325 for students from reserved categories and female candidates. 

National Testing Agency (NTA) NEET 2021

As for NEET 2021, the exam date for the medical entrance test was earlier scheduled for August 1, however, the registration process for the same usually begins 60 days before the exam date, which has not happened yet. The NTA is also yet to make an official announcement regarding the NEET 2021 exam date. 

The news dates are expected to be announced soon by the Education Ministry and newly appointed Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
