In a piece of good news for lakhs of students preparing for JEE Main 2021 entrance exam dates, the exam dates for the third and fourth phases of JEE Main 2021 were announced on Tuesday (July 6) by then Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank after a long wait due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
These exams were earlier going to be held in April and May but were delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic-induced lockdown. The registration window is open for candidates at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The online application window will be closed on July 12 at 9 pm for the fourth session in August. The registration process for the third session was earlier closed on July 8.
How to register for JEE Main 2021 online?
Students applying for NTA JEE Main 2021 exam should follow these steps for registration.
Step 1: Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the 'registration link' on the homepage
Step 3: Fill the application form
Step 4: Make the payment
Step 5: Confirm submission and take a printout for further references
The application fee for JEE Main exam is Rs 650 for general category students and Rs 325 for students from reserved categories and female candidates. It is important to note that the JEE Main exam will be conducted by strictly complying with COVID-19 guidelines and protocols.
According to the National Testing Agency (NTA), face masks will be provided to all candidates at the exam centres. All the computers and seats will be sanitised before and after the exams as well. Any computer set that will be used in one shift will not be used in the next shift.
