Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) Recruitment 2021 exams have been postponed till July 16. OSSC recruitment exams have been deferred due to the ongoing extension of COVID-19 lockdown in the state.  

“The Recruitment Examinations scheduled to be conducted up to 16.07.2021 published vide Notice No.1378/OSSC dated 01.06.2021 & Notice No.1497/OSSC dated 21.06.2021 stands deferred due to extension of lockdown/shutdown arising out of COVID-19 Pandemic situation,” the Commission has informed candidates.

The commission has not released any revised dates for the OSSC recruitment 2021 exams.

“Revised schedule of Examination will be notified shortly. Candidates are advised to remain in constant touch with the website of the Commission www.ossc.gov.in to know further updates,” it further said.

As per OSSC recruitment calendar, Skill Test for Junior Librarian, Assistant Librarian posts was scheduled to be held on July 9, 2021.  The skill test for the posts of Combined Auditor - 2016 was also scheduled for July 9, 2021.

Earlier on June 21, the Commission had re-scheduled the Computer Skill Test for the post of Assistant Librarian and Junior Librarian -2017 and Combined Auditor-2016 to July 9, 2021, due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation.

 

The Odisha government on Wednesday extended the partial lockdown in the state till July 16, 5 am. Chief Secretary SC Mohapatra said the state government decided to extend the partial lockdown keeping in view the prevailing situation, while an effort was made to strike a balance between life and livelihood.
