REET Exam 2021: The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) postponed the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) to June 20, 2021. Earlier, the examination was scheduled to be held on April 25, 2021. The reason behind re-scheduling the REET 2021 is to give a chance to the economically weaker section to apply for the exam.

The date of release of REET Admit Card 2021 will be announced soon. REET 2021 exam will be held in two sessions, Paper 1 for those appearing for class 1 to 5 teacher’s positions and Paper 2 for class 6 to 8. The official website for more updates is rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had announced during the Budget Session that the main reason to postpone the REET Exam Date 2021 is to provide a chance to EWS people.  RBSE Director DP Jaroli has said that the REET 2021 application for EWS classes will begin soon.

Earlier this year, there was a controversy that the Jain community had also asked for the postponement of the REET exam due to Mahavir Jayanti on April 25, 2021. But the actual reason remains to provide a chance to EWS classes. The Department of Education Rajasthan has announced this through a tweet.
