There is some good news for youths preparing for Staff Service Commission (SSC) exams. Staff Service Commission (SSC), which will conduct the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) Exam 2020, will release exam notification on February 2, 2021.
SSC MTS 2020 exam notification has been delayed due to COVID-19 situation in India. As per the SSC calendar, Staff Selection Commission of India (SSC) had to release SSC MTS 2020 notification on June 2, 2020, but it has not been released on time. The official notification now will be released on February 2, 2021.
The Staff Service Commission is the responsible body for conduction the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) Exam. It is also known as SSC MTS Exam. SSC MTS Exam is conducted to recruit candidates in the General Central Service Group 'C' Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Ministries/Departments/ Offices of the Government of India in different States/Union Territories.
SSC MTS 2021 Notification
Every year lakhs of candidates appear for the SSC MTS Exam. In 2019, approximately 38 lakh candidates had appeared for the Exam. Tentative vacancies for MTS Exam 2020 are 7000. The SSC MTS 2020 notification is expected to be released in February 2021. The best part of the MTS Exam is its eligibility criteria which are matriculation pass or equivalent. Like the other government exams, where the selection process is a two-stage process, MTS Exam is also no different. It involves the following two stages:
Paper 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)
Paper 2: Descriptive Test
SSC MTS 2020 Exam Pattern
The examination of SSC MTS 2020 will be conducted in 3 different levels: Paper-1, Paper-2 (Descriptive Test) & Paper-3 (Skill Test). Paper-1 is an online exam which is objective multiple choice question type. Paper-2 is a pen and paper mode of examination which includes a descriptive paper in English or any other language listed in the government policies. Paper-III is a skill test that needs to be taken as per candidate's convenience.
SSC MTS 2020 Exam Dates
As per the SSC Calendar 2020-21, SSC MTS 2020 Paper-I is scheduled to be conducted between 1st July to 20th July 2021. The exam schedule for other SSC exams has revised due to the COVID-19 situation in India. The new exam dates for SSC MTS 2020 exam will also be released with its official notification.
SSC MTS Application Fee
The Application Fee for SSC MTS 2020 is Rs. 100/-
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen category are exempted from paying the application fee. In addition to this, female candidates are also exempted from paying the application fee for SSC MTS 2020 exam.
