UP Board Class 10th Exam Result declared; Ria Jain tops High School Exam with 96.67%

The results of UP Board Class 10th were announced on Saturday at the board's official website upmsp.edu.in.

Ria Jain, of  Sri Ram SM Inter college Baghpat, has topped the UP Board class 10th exam with a score of 96.67%. The exam was conducted by Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP).

Abhmanyu Verma, son of Ramhit Verma, again from Barabanki, stood second with a score of 95.83%.

Yogesh Pratap Singh scored 95.33% and stood third. He is from Barabanki as well.

The results of UP Board Class 10th were announced on Saturday at the board's official website upmsp.edu.in. 

UP Board results are usually declared in May but it was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The exams for both classes 10th and 12th were held in February-March. 

The results were announced at 12:10 PM after the UP Board press conference. Almost 56 lakh students who appeared for the exams can now check their results on the three websites - upmsp.edu.in, upresults.nic.in and upmspresults.up.nic.in.

“We will provide digital mark sheets. The students will able to get it within three days and it will be valid as original mark sheets,” deputy CM Dinesh Sharma announced during the press conference today. It was also said that the toppers of the UP Board exam will get laptops and cash rewards.

83% of Class 10th students have passed the UP Board high school exam. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the results of both classes have improved from last year.

Uttar Pradesh Board is the largest school education board in the country. This year, over 56 lakh students appeared in High School and Intermediate examinations. Of these, over 30 lakh were in high school while nearly 26 lakh appeared for intermediate examinations.

The data provided by the board revealed that 16.6 lakh boys appeared for class 10th exam while 13.6 lakh were girl students. Nearly 26 lakh students sat in the class 12th exam. While 14.6 lakh boys sat for class 12th exam, 11.2 lakh were girl students.

1. Log on to one of the official government result websites - upmsp.edu.in, upresults.nic.in or upmspresults.up.nic.in

2. Click on the link UP Board Result 2020 Class 10

3. Enter your roll number and other details

4. Your result will be displayed on the screen

5. Download the result for future reference
