The Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government recently announced that it will provide free laptops for exemplary students under the UP Free Laptopn Yojana 2021. Reports state that those who are eligible for the scheme can apply for the same via the official UP government website.
Under the UP Free Laptop Yojana 2021, the Uttar Pradesh government will distribute laptops to more than 22 lakh students who passed the board exams in the state.
This initiative will help the government to offer gadgets to the students who passed their class 12 exams, according to a report in India Today. The UP Free Laptop Yojana 2021 will also help students prepare for college, to work on their assignments, and remote learning, among other things.

This scheme by the UP government is applicable for students who cleared their class 12 board exams in UP. The students who are eligible to get a laptop are ones who scored at least 65 percent marks in their exams.

According to an India.com report, the documents which will be required to apply for UP Free Laptop Yojana 2021 are a student’s mark sheet, a bonafide certificate, residence proof, a photograph, and their Aadhaar card.
