Actor-producer Fahadh Faasil is gearing up for C U Soon which he shot during the lockdown. The Mahesh Narayan directorial reunites Fahadh with the Take Off helmer and editor. The film also stars Roshan Mathew and Darshana Rajendran in the lead roles. Now, during an exclusive interaction with DNA, Fahadh spoke at length about the process of filming C U Soon which is set in Kerala and UAE but has been entirely shot in Kochi.
Interestingly, Fahad also confirmed the fact that C U Soon sequel is also in the works and is slated to release in 2021. The Trance actor revealed it will be shot in the normal circumstances and not via phone cameras which is how the first instalment has been shot. Fahadh stated, "There will be another version of C U Soon next year. You'll see what you have not seen in this version. It will the same story and like a normal film."

The Bangalore Days actor further shared, "It won't be shot through the devices but in a normal film set up. There will be more detailing from that aspect. It will not be in interiors but will be shot outside entirely."
When asked about shooting for the film during the lockdown and in a restricted way, Fahadh revealed he would have chosen to shot it in the same way if the situation was normal. The actor said, "If I were to make this film at a time when there's no lockdown, I would have just made it this way. This was the way to make this film and I believe this is possibly the only way to make this film. So I had no restrictions or anything, basically, the only stress was I didn't want anyone to fall sick or ill. Otherwise, it was such a joy making this one."
