Mohanlal treats fans with 'Aaraattu' first look poster

Nearly a fortnight after Mohanlal kickstarted the shoot of his forthcoming film, Aaraattu, the superstar shared the first look. The Malayalam star took to his social media pages and posted the poster from B Unnikrishnan directorial. However, Mohanlal hid his face but a glimpse can be seen in the reflection. The actor joined the sets of the film after wrapping his most-awaited flick Drishyam 2 in Kerala. 

Talking about Aaraattu first look, Mohanlal is seen stepping out of his vintage car in a red shirt and Aviator sunglasses. The look is surely fierce like his other movies but will remind you of his iconic 1995 film Spadikam. Mohanlal captioned his post stating, "#Aaraattu First Look Poster."

Earlier while talking about the shooting of the film, Unnikrishnan told The News Minute, "Due to the COVID-19 protocols, the majority of the movies that were shot recently don't have stunt choreography, but our film has. So, the fight master and his assistants will quarantine for seven days and then take the tests. Even during the shoot, they will maintain social distancing. This is how big films are being made in Bollywood."

Aaraattu also stars Shraddha Srinath as the female lead along with Saikumar, Siddique, Vijayaraghavan and Ashwin Kumar in pivotal roles.

Apart from Aaraattu, Mohanlal also has Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, Drishyam 2 and Ram which are slated to release on the big screen in 2021. The actor resumed work amid coronavirus pandemic with Jeethu Joseph's Drishyam 2.
