'Paava Kadhaigal' trailer explores intricacies of complex relationships through four gut-wrenching stories

Gautham Menon, Vetri Maaran, Sudha Kongara and Vignesh Shivan direct Netflix's first Tamil anthology.

The trailer for Netflix original film Paava Kadhaigal is out. The movie is an anthology directed by leading filmmakers Gautham Menon, Vetri Maaran, Sudha Kongara and Vignesh Shivan. Paava Kadhaigal has an ensemble cast including Aadithya Baaskar, Anjali, Bhavani Sre, Gautham Menon, Hari, Kalidas Jayaram, Kalki Koechlin, Padam Kumar, Prakash Raj, Sai Pallavi, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj and Simran amongst others

Sudha Kongara who directed Thangam said in a statement, "Each story in Paava Kadhaigal explores human relationships from a perspective that it has never been looked at before - how far would one go in the name of honour. Working with the large powerhouse of talent that I did was great and I hope the viewers like the final product."

Vignesh Shivan on directing Love Panna Uttranum said, “The shoot for the film was brilliant and it was a great experience working with such solid actors that gave their best performances. Paava Kadhaigal helped me honestly explore such an authentic theme and allowed me to work alongside some of the most experienced filmmakers from the industry."

Paava Kadhaigal will stream on Netflix from December 18, 2020.
