After a long wait, Alia Bhatt finally joined the sets of RRR directed by SS Rajamouli. The actor plays the female lead in the film and the announcement was made in March 2019. RRR stars Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles and the shooting is happening in full swing in Hyderabad. On Sunday, Alia was clicked at the Mumbai airport while leaving the city for RRR shoot.
Now, the makers of the magnum opus shared a few happy photos of the actor with Rajamouli meeting on the sets of RRR. The official Twitter page of the movie posted a candid click of Alia and the filmmaker having a hearty laugh while interacting with each other.
In the photo, "Alia is seen wearing a black tee with black skin-tight jeans and a blue fringed denim jacket. She tied her hair in a high ponytail and wore a pair of white sneakers. While Rajamouli wore a purple shirt and dark blue jeans with black sneakers."
The photo was captioned as "A very warm welcome to our dearest #Sita, the supremely talented and beautiful @Aliaa08 on to the sets of #RRRMovie! #AliaBhatt."

Talking about Alia's delayed shoot, SS Rajamouli had earlier told Bollywood Hungama, "The shoot with Alia which was supposed to happen this month got cancelled due to the pandemic. We need to re-work the dates and schedules. I am looking forward to working with her."
RRR also stars Ajay Devgn in a pivotal role and he had joined the sets earlier this year.
