Here's what KGF actor Yash has to say on knowing about the fan who set himself on fire...
Much like Bollywood A-listers the actors don South enjoy a massive fan base. Not just Rajinikanth, Mahesh Babu Jr. NTR, but KGF actor Yash too has a huge fan following who never fails to show their love and affection for their favourtie actor. However, one of the fans crossed all limits of expressing his love for Yash when he committed suicide by setting himself on fire, in front of the actor's bungalow, on not being able to meet him.
A report on Time Now suggests that Yash visited the hospital where the fan was admitted and breathed his last. Reacting strongly to the incident Yash was quoted as saying, "I do not want fans like this, this is not fandom or love, this does not bring me happiness. I will not come to see anybody else like this again, it will give the wrong message to fans who think that I will come and meet them (if they take drastic steps like this)."

1. Yash decided not to celebrate his birthday, here's why

KGF Yash had decided not to celebrate his 33rd birthday in order to pay a tribute to veteran Kannada actor Ambreesh who passed away. Just like every year, one of his fans - 26-year old Ravi Raghuram, arrived in front of Yash's house to meet him and get a selfie clicked with him.

2. Yash's fan set himself on fire on not getting to meet the actor

Since Yash wasn't celebrating his birthday this year, the fan couldn't get to meet him. Reportedly, this made him commit suicide outisde Yash's bungalow. The securites rushed the fan to the Victoria hospital after he set himself on fire.

3. 'I request my fans to never take such drastic steps' - Yash

As per the reports doing the rounds, by the time he reached the hospital, he had suffered 70% burns and had succumbed to injuries. On getting to know about the incident, Yash visited the hospital and told the media, "He has clicked selfies with me on my birthday (last year). I’m sorry to say but this is not fandom and I don’t believe he can be a fan. I request my fans to never take such drastic steps. A few days before my birthday, I had put out a video saying I am not celebrating my birthday this year. This is very hurtful.”

4. He went to meet Yash every year on his birthday

Talking about Raghuram's craze for the actor, his father told the mediapersons, "Ravi goes every year to meet Yash. Last year he had taken us to his house as well. This year, we had told him not to go, but he persisted. Do not know where Ravi got the petrol from."

Such was his craze for the KGF actor that Raghuram was talking about Yash even while breathing his last. A report in The News Minute quoted Dr. KT Ramesh as saying, "When we were dressing his wounds, Ravi asked the doctors whether Yash would come to see him, now that he was struggling between life and death”.
