Nayanthara was dating Prabhudheva, a married man, for four years and the couple was going to get married too
Not many would know but Prabhudheva was involved with renowned actress Nayanthara. The couple was in a four year relationship while the actor was still married to his now ex-wife Ramlatha, also knwon as Latha. In fact, Nayanthara was the reason for his divorce too.
Prabhudheva was all set to marry Nayanthara, but Latha came in their way and dragged the matter to court. She has gone on record to say that she would have 'kicked' Nayanthara on the spot when she saw her, because the actress stole her husband.
The controversy has been going viral yet again after it was noticed that Nayanthara, who had tattooed Prabhu's name on her arm, changed it to 'positivity'. This happened among news of her getting married to director boyfriend Vignesh Shivan made rounds of the internet.
1. Prabhudheva's shifting focus from family after 15 years

Prabhudheva, who got married to Latha in 1995, was in marital bliss for 15 years. Latha, who was born a Muslim, changed her religion to Hinduism in order to get married to Prabhudheva. She had told The New Indian Express, "Prabhu Deva is a sincere and kind husband, who has taken care of us for the past 15 years. Very recently he purchased a house for us. But now everything has changed. His present behaviour is a big shock to me and Deva's family too. Our family law never allows a married person to marry other woman."
2. Latha wanted to 'kick' Nayanthara on the spot

She further spoke about Nayanthara's involvement and said, "At the same time it should punish the woman who steal others husband illegally. I have requested the police and judicial set up to arrest Nayantara for her intention of stealing my husband from me. If I see the actress anywhere, I will surely kick her on the spot. She is the best example for a bad woman."
3. Nayanthara opens up about split with Prabhudheva

Talking about her split, Nayanthara had told Times of India, "When I am in a relationship, I give it my 100 per cent. But then if it doesn't work, you cannot help it. You cannot move ahead with something which isn't working."
"I don't know whether it's destiny or whatever it just didn't work. We were probably not meant to be together. When you have to go away from someone you love or vice-versa, whatever the reason, it really shatters your life. But how you deal with it is important. I was in a relationship for three and a half years so I still need to get over it completely. It'll take a lot of time," she added.

After coming out in the open about dating director Vignesh Shivan, reoprts suggest Nayanthara might have wedding on her mind. Meanwhile, Prabhudheva, now a divorced man, has been focuing on Bollywood films. He has become a favourite of superstar Salman Khan. After helming 'Dabangg 3', Salman roped in Prabhu for his upcoming release 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai' too. While the movie was slated for Eid release, it might be pushed due to coronavirus lockdown.
