Shantanu Moitra, known for his melodious tracks and soulful numbers has been a Vidhu Vinod Chopra regular for ages. And now that he's composed the songs for PK, we caught up with the composer to decode the music album. "The album will have five songs in total. We have tried doing all melodies and some quirky numbers, using the best singers in the business today," he quips.

"After Tharki chokro and Love is a waste of time, there is also a very soulful, melodious number sung by Shaan and Shreya Ghoshal titled Char kadam chal do na mere saath. It is actually the love song from the album and it is shot exactly the way romantic numbers were shot once upon a time in Bollywood. The visuals will remind you of Silsila, that iconic moment where the camera gently captures the love brewing between Amitabh and Rekha. There were no fast camera movement or loud shots. This is one of my favourite tracks from the album," he continued. "Other than that, there is the God song. It is again sung by Sonu Nigam and is a classic Shantanu Moitra trademark semi-classical number."

"The final song in the list is Shreya Ghoshal's Nanga Punga. Shreya has sung this quirky number beautifully and it shows her prowess as a singer. And one thing that people do not know is that the song was conceptualised much before the first poster. The poster featuring Aamir in the buff was made only after we composed the song. Shreya has sung the song tremendously well," signed off Moitra.
