Actor Abhishekh Khan who recently made his debut with Netflix and Red chillies original ‘Bard of Blood’ is currently on cloud nine as he is receiving a lot of praises for his character Nusrat Marri. The Netflix streaming web-series ‘Bard of Blood’ is based on the novel written by Bilal Siddiqui and is a political spy thriller, directed by Ribhu Dasgupta and produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
Abhishekh Khan is seen playing the character of Nusrat Marri who is the leader of Baluchistan Armed Forces (BAF).
Abhishekh undertook excessive gun training and language training in order to fit into the character.
Abhishekh explains, he had to lose 9 kgs and even get a tan to get the real look for his role as Nusrat.
When asked Abhishekh about his experience playing Nusrat he adds, “It was a great opportunity and a learning experience working with such great actors like Emran Hashmi, Jaideep Ahlawat, Vineet Kumar. I got to learn so much from all of them.”.

In the past, Abhishekh was a part of the famous theatre circuit in Mumbai. Abhishekh’s acting in ‘Bard of Blood’ is quite remarkable. After watching his performance some of the leading critics also praised Abhishekh for his performance and feels that the young lad is a very promising actor and has a long way to go in the Bollywood industry.
