Malayalam actress Jyothi Krishna was in for a rude shock when a friend showed her how her morphed photos had been uploaded on a porn site. The actress took to her Facebook page to slam the culprits.

In a long message on her Facebook page, Jyothi wrote in Malayalam about the issue. Slamming who morphed her photos, she wrote, "A son or daughter born in a bad family has cropped my photo and pasted my head on a photo of the body of his or her mother or sister. The morphed photo has been shared by many people through WhatsApp and those who knew me have been supportive.I don't have anything more to say on this issue to the man or woman who did this as what the person intended did not happen. I thank all those who stood by me." 

Jyothi Krishna made her debut in the film industry in 2011 and was last seen in Life of Josutty. She is not the first Malayalam actress to face this issue. In the past, actresses Asha Sarath, Gayathri Arun and Rachana Narayanankutty also had to deal with their fake videos and photos being circulated online. 

The actress told BBC Trending that she addressed the issue to “give other social media harassment victims like myself, the strength to express their voice and bring culprits in front of the law.”
