Playback singer Udit Narayan's son and Indian Idol host Aditya Narayan's wedding festivities have begun.

In a photo that has surfaced on the Internet, Aditya and his long-time girlfriend Shweta's families all seem gathered around the couple as Shweta holds 'shagun' items displayed on a tray in her hand. In what can be perceived as a photo from the soon to be married couple's roka ceremony, the two looked happy and excited as they posed for the cameras.

While the couple is seen seated next to each other while, the elders stand behind them to pose for a perfect family photo. Dressed in a pink Indian attire Shweta looks beautiful while Aditya donned a grey short and denim for the intimate, at-home ceremony.

Aditya's close friend and comedian Bharti Singh also shared the same picture on her Instagram story to congratulate the couple.

Take a look.

Earlier, on November 3, in an Instagram post, Aditya made his relationship with girlfriend Shweta Agarwal official. In the post, Aditya shared a photo of him hugging Shweta and revealed that he will be getting married to her in December.

Aditya mentioned that he had been dating Shweta for 11 years and stated that he had found his 'soulmate' in her. Aditya also mentioned that he was taking a break from social media for his wedding preparations.

In an interview to Times of India, Aditya Narayan had shared, "I met Shweta on the sets of Shaapit and we hit it off instantly. Slowly and gradually, I realised I was head-over-heels in love and started pursuing her. Initially, she wanted to be 'just friends', because we were both very young and needed to focus on our careers. Like every relationship, we have seen a lot of ups-and-downs over the last 10 years. Marriage is just a formality between us now, which hopefully should also happen by November or December. My parents know Shweta and like her a lot. I am happy that I have found my soulmate in her."
